matwork class
During the matwork class you will learn about neutral postural alignment, breathing and engaging your deep local stabilising muscles. Each exercise is performed with concentration and control and target specific muscles. Over the weeks you will improve your posture, flexibility, mobility and strength.
As a beginner you will start with a medical form to highlight any injuries you may have . You will then have a one to one session with the instructor to go over any issues from your medical form and the basic Pilates principles. If you are coming at the recommendation of a practitioner(GP or Physiotherapist) is is recommended that you arrange a full one to one session first.
All equipment is provided you just need to wear comfortable clothing, we work in bare feet or socks if preferred.
